Frequently asked questions

Are your prices per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. The price does not change as you add passengers, so the cost per person falls the more of you there are. That is the opposite of a per-seat tour, and it is why a family of four is almost always better off with us.
What is included in the price?
The driver, fuel, tolls, parking and waiting time. Not included: site entry fees, meals, and third-party activities such as camel rides, quad hire or desert camps, which you pay directly to those operators.
Do you track flights?
Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and we follow the actual arrival time, moving the pickup with it. It is the main reason a booked transfer beats a taxi from the rank on a late or delay-prone flight.
Can you drive into the medina?
No vehicle can. The lanes are too narrow. We drop at the nearest gate to your riad and it is a short walk or a porter cart from there. Ask your riad which gate to give us — most will send someone if they know the time.
How do I pay?
You pay the driver on arrival, in cash or by card on the payment terminal in the vehicle. There is no deposit and nothing to pay in advance. On desert and mountain trips the terminal can lose signal, so carry some cash there.
What if I have a surfboard or oversized luggage?
Tell us at booking rather than on the day. Surfboards and oversized luggage carry a supplement of 50 MAD (about €5) per board or item, and a board needs a larger vehicle than a sedan. Getting the right vehicle sent is a two-line message; discovering the problem at the kerb is not.
Do you have child seats?
Yes. Ask for one when you book and tell us the child’s age, so the right seat is in the vehicle at pickup.
Which languages do your drivers speak?
English and French. If you need another language, say so when you book and we will tell you plainly whether we can help.
Will you tell me if the coach is cheaper?
Yes, and we do it on the route pages before we mention our own prices. For one or two people travelling light on a motorway route, the coach is usually the better buy and we would rather say so.
